after much trial and error, I finally got a picture on here to be "me."

The problems I encountered were from trying to reduce the picture in file size to meet the limits to upload it, since I take my pictures in a much bigger format than lj has space for on their system. I do not have a problem with their limits, but I did have quite a few difficulties getting my picture reduced in pixels to fit into them!

pixels sound to me like there should be little critters with pointy-toe shoes running around. they should be wearing shoes that look almost like santa's elves shoes.
